From the 6th to the 14th Century

Private Tour Only €300 per family

This tour is designed with my favorite 'pet peave' in mind: The so-called "Dark" Middle Ages.

On this tour, we will discover that the "Dark" Ages weren't really so dark at all, and were in fact, full of happiness and creativity!

Watch the early Middle Ages suddenly come to life as we visit rich mosaics, playful fresco scenes, amazing relics! Places we will visit on this tour include the churches of Sts. Cosmos and Damian; San Clemente (€10pp extra entrance fee); the monastery of the Quattro Coronati and the Scala Sancta.

An incredible opportunity to see artwork in its original setting, in areas of Rome you might not otherwise visit.

Early Renaissance to Baroque

Private Tour Only €300 per family

Filippino Lippi, Antoniazzo Romano, Fra Angelico, Donatello, Michelangelo, Borromini, Bernini, Caravaggio - these are the names you will hear on this tour! And more!

Rome is called an 'open air' museum, yet few people actually utilize this special feature of this fantastic city.

The churches were the cultural centers of the Middle Ages, so all the best in art and architecture are in the churches.

Places we will visit include Santa Maria Sopra Minerva, the Pantheon, St. Louis of France Church, piazza St. Eustachio, and if time permits, piazza Navona and St. Agnes Church.

During different times of the year - usually Spring - special events take place in Rome; places and palaces not normally open to the general public are opened on one weekend.

If you hear of any of these events and want to take part, let me know and we can participate in this truly unique experience!
