Steinmueller was president of the Pontifical Biblical Commission in Rome. I have another series of books by him in this catalogue.
This is not written for Biblical specialists, but for the great majority of educated people with little spare time. For priests, students and the educated laity this is a concise introduction and guide to the Old and New Testament. It is an arsenal in which they can quickly find reliable explanations of almost every subject and problem related both sets of books.

CathBiblEncyc2Material includes dogma and ethics, history, geography and topography, archaeology and linguistics, the study of every proper name, civil and social legislation, liturgy. A formal introduction is devote to the individual books, explaining their significance analyzing their content and treating the most important critical problems. In more difficult cases the various opinions are expounded and it is left to the reader to weigh the evidence for himself.

Everyone else on the internet is trying to get €50 for this – I’ll sell  it for half – €25.00 and it’s yours.
